Hi, I'm Kimber

 " Dreams DO come true! "  That's what I kept telling myself when I was in foster care!  "Someday, I will have a ranch where kids can be kids!  No trauma, no drama, no fighting, no judging"!  
            98 foster children, 8 adopted kiddos and 2 birth daughters later...Mariana's Ranch came to fruition.
            My family and I are so blessed to be able to share our love for nature, animals and helping those in trauma.  ​

Hi, I'm Terry

I’m relatively new to the “horse world” but I’ve been supporting, helping and advocating for children for as long as I can remember. I was put on this planet to be a Mom and now a Grandma. 
I’ve known Kimber since we were both young and fearless. Watching her dream of Marianas Ranch come to reality is a blessing I’m honored to be a part of.
My horse, Gus, has given me peace and grounding beyond anything I could have imagined!  I believe Marianas Ranch will provide a taste of that exquisite love and joy to many children and adults, especially to those that need it the most.  What could be better than that?

My husband & I have been foster parents for 9 years and have adopted 2 beautiful girls.

We love animals, especially horses! I have personally witnessed their incredible healing power, which is why I feel so blessed to be a part of Mariana's Ranch!

​Our passion is to bring hope and healing to not only children faced with trauma, but their families and caregivers as well!

Hi, I'm Kylee

I am the secretary for Mariana’s Ranch. Along with our founder, Kimber Kern, my horses are onsite at Carbon River Stables. My daughter and I have 2 horses and a goat at the barn. Izzy is an 18 year old 15hh liver chestnut Morgan. Jewel is an 8 year old 16hh registered solid paint. She’s a bay and our paint that aint. Toffee is our baby boy and a Dwarf Nigerian Goat. When I’m not at the barn, I’m working as a full time RN. My husband and I are originally from CA and he’s my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 20 years and have 2 amazing kiddos.
Mariana’s Ranch is an amazing program and I am so excited to be apart of it. I have been truly blessed by the opportunity to witness the amazing progress that can be made with equine therapy. Animals in general are wonderful, but there’s just something special about horses.

Hi, I'm Danniyelle

As a former foster pregnant teen, I felt left out of most programs. As an adult I worked 9 years in a private foster/ adoption agency as a Program Manager and Visit Supervisor. At one of these challenging Supervised Visits Kimber Kern and I met and remained friends from that day forward. I moved agencies and started Therapeutic Supervised Visitations for foster children with their biological families at a Counseling Service for another two years. I left after adopting a sibling set of 4 very young children. We love being outdoors, as it has been an important key in healing my children with their traumas. Kimber Kern called earlier in the year and asked if I was ready to go back to work. I had missed the children in care and was very ready to join Mariana's Ranch and continue with my passion.
​I am proud to serve as Mariana's Ranch Board President!
